You’ve got a career promotion? Here is how you handle the environment changes.

1. Stay the same with colleagues

If you have been particularly close with some colleagues, a promotion can stir things up in the office. Be prepared for some bitterness or jealousy from the colleagues who lost the promotion to you. Just act natural and be the person you have always been. Example, if you were a joker in a group, continue doing so.

2. Slowly settle down in your new responsibilities.

New power can easily get to your head. When you are armed with a new power, title and better pay, starting to give orders maybe alluring. For the first few weeks, turn to your manager and peers for guidance and treat it as a training time. You will be granted with brownie points with old and new colleagues by your humility and interest in learning.

3. Using new tools

When you have been promoted, it is common to have an assistant with the title you have. Don’t feel awkward to use this new facility. Don’t confuse these benefits was perks. These are the tools that will help you to do the job. Don’t abuse these privileges. Get your assistant to arrange meetings, send fax, schedule for any occasions so that you can fully focus on your new duties.

March 2008 Womens QA

Q1: I just got married and made love for the first time. I didn't bleed. My husband is the only man I slept with, plus I'm not even into sports. Could there be anything wrong?

A1: Don't panic. Not all the women bleed the first time they had sex. In case you don't really know, the hymen is the membrane at the vaginal opening. Menstrual blood can flow trough because it has perforations in it. But then sometimes, there is a large central opening. The hymen maybe stretch rather than torn - in which case there is no bleeding for the first time you had sex. There are possibilities that it may tear and bleed later during more rigorous intercourse. Whether a girl bleeds or not during her first sexual intercourse, does not determine she is a virgin or not. The hymen could have been torn during sports activities, tampon use, gynecological examinations, injury from falling and etc.

Q2: Why do I always feel to pee when I'm having sexual intercourse with my husband?

A2: It is most likely your husband is hitting your "G-spot". Many women reports feeling the urge to urinate when their G-Spot is stimulated. This happens because the g-spot which is actually a spongy pad wrapped around the urethra is near the bladder. Pressure is put on the wall near the bladder when thrusting takes place, thats why you have that sensation. Most women says, that orgasm is often followed when the feeling of wanting to urinate very badly comes. Just remember to pee before having sex, then you know its not really a need to urinate. This way, you won't feel distracted from enjoying the sensation during sex. Don't worry too much, its normal.

Q3: Does contraceptive pills cause weight gain? Are there any side effects if taken for longer periods?

A3: It is a long standing myth that the pill causes women to gain weight. A research has been done on the pill in UK that revealed 99% of women are not affected - only a minority of women experience weight gain.

In terms of side effects, most users of the pills experience none. The common side effect that have been reported so far are nausea, bleeding in between periods, headaches, mood changes, and breast tenderness. On the other hand, there are also some side effects that you actually might be happy to have such as lighter period, milder menstrual crams, and improved acne condition.

5 Minutes to look beautiful

Your new quick and easy make up plan can be modified to be fit your own beauty sense by just sparing 5 to 7 minutes in the morning. This will be very useful for working women.

1. Eyes
A single coat of mascara will only take about one moment per eye, giving just enough definition to lashes bringing out your eyes. Do mascara alone is a good substitute if time does not permit eye shadow application, putting on eye color should take no more than a few seconds.

2. Lips
For a soft, kissable look, slap some flavored or tinted lip gloss on your lips. To draw more attention to your lips apply lipstick or lip stain rather than lip-gloss.

3. Blemishes and dark spots
If you don’t have time, use a cover-up or powder make up, concealer stick to mask blemishes and dark circles under your eyes.

4. Hair
Invest in a few hairpins, clips and decorative sticks. Some types of these accessories allow women to twist their hair up and pin it back will certainly draws more attention.

5. Perfume
Finally, splash on some body spray or perfume and get ready to head out.

Like A Brazilian Virgin

There's always a first time to everything. If you have not tried the well known Brazilian wax, maybe it's time for you to try.

What is a Brazilian wax?
Brazilian wax is not a bikini wax, but it is a wax where it removes all your pubic hair.

There are a list of after care waxing treatment that was given by my therapist. These are some of the things you need to do for the next 24 hours:

1. Avoid sun bathing
2. Avoid tight clothing
3. No hot bath or shower
4. Do not rub or touch the area. Empty follicles provide a route for bacteria invasion.
5. Avoid the use of perfume products.
6. Avoid heat or ultraviolet treatments such as sun beds and saunas.
7. Avoid bathing in the swimming pool or in the sea.
8. Avoid deodorant or antiperspirant.
9. Avoid using self-tanning products and makeup.

The negative side of Brazilian wax.
- It can last you as much as 3 weeks but the hair will grow back and you have to do it again.
- Your hair has to be a certain length before it can successfully being waxed.
- You might experience red bumps or ingrown hairs.

What makes you look dull in the morning?

Beauty creams can absorb much better if you have a good night sleep. Below are the following bad habits, that could be slipping among you and a glowy morning complexion.

1. Clogged pores normally appears due to applying too much night cream. So, make sure you apply a pea-sized dollop or just enough as recommended on the bottle.

2. No matter how exhausted you feel, neglecting to remove make-up will lead to breakouts in the long run. So, please don't be lazy dear.

3. Munching on fried noodles, junk foods, before bed is not a good idea. The salt makes your skin retain water especially around the eyes next morning.

4. Dull and dry skin can also occur by having alcoholic drinks. Be sure to drink up a LARGE glass of water before hitting the bed on social nights.
