4 Skin Damage Factors

2. Bad habits
Collagen fibers in our skin decrease the oxygen supplies to the skin and causes early wrinkles because of smoking. It also chars your lungs. Flushed appearance of broken vessels on our skin surface looked age because of alcohol intake. Our blood flow becomes irregular and this gives way to rapid skin aging without enough physical activities.

3. Environmental stress
Breakdown of elastic fibers and collagen in the skin are one of the reasons of environmental issues that cause wrinkles and sagging. Dead skin self accumulate on the surface, pores get clogged, outer layer becomes irritated and coarse make your skin look dull are the signs of slow cell turnover. UV rays from the sun causes hyper pigmentation which increases the production of melanin in the form of spots, blotches and uneven skin tone that makes our skin appear much older than it is.

4. Genetic factor
In our aging rate, gene plays a big role. Our genes are determined by 30% of our skin’s youthfulness. Our makeup DNA is determined by how our skin response to environmental and physical damage. Our skin is more likely to age faster if we inherit aging skin genes.

2. Question: Skin all over my body is itchy and irritated. It looks like I have eczema resulted with inflammatory skin and scars all over it. What should I do?

Answer: Family who has a history of skin allergies or sensitive skins has the higher change of getting eczema. Signs of eczema are different to each individual. Example, people who frequently exposed to soaps, detergent, germicides, juices from fruits and meats, wool, dust mites and even stress have chances to get eczema. Answer: It is common for individuals to have sexual intercourse during menses. As a matter of fact, some women admit that they are “turn on” during this period. There won’t be any problem if both partners are healthy with no disease and advisably male uses a condom.

Answer: Why not unless it overtakes your other priority. Another problem that can occur is if it becomes obsession. It is more important if you could spend your time doing things together, talking real stuff rather than indulging in sexual activities. As long as, both of you feel healthy, there are no medical complications, happy together; there’s nothing wrong to have sex everyday. I hope sex is not the reason for both of you to love each other.

1. Cutting hair makes it grow faster

Your hair is assumed as your grassy backyard lawn. Even though, you cut the ends, it won’t have any effect on the root, however it will just get rid of the damaged and weak hair and that makes it look healthier. Shaving the leg hair will only makes the ends feel bristled and the hair won’t grow thicker.

2. Its ok to trim split ends at home
A hairdresser’s advice is that it’s perfectly fine to trim split ends DIY (Do It Yourself)-style as long as you use best quality of scissors. Split ends can be worsening if you use dull blades.

3. Wearing tight buns causes baldness
Whether u believe it or not, it’s true. The name for this condition is Traction Alopecia- wearing tight hairstyles like buns and plaits over an extended period of time can lead to hair loss condition that can become permanent. So, mix up your hairstyles for looser versions.

4. Brushing your hair 100 times a day will make it much healthier
It’s not really true, actually, split ends and over breakage are the leading contributor of over-brushing. When your hair is wet, it is more damaging to brush your hair as the strands are in the weakest state that will head to major breakage. Use a brush to style and wide-tooth comb to detangle your hair. Stop once it’s done, don’t overdo it.

5. Sharing a hairbrush spreads scalp disease
It’s true and at the same time it’s gross too. Parasites can be transported from scalp to scalp through sharing of combs, brushes and other hair care tools. Just wash your combs with any insects shampoo to kill any nasties if your buddy borrows your comb.

6. Pluck one grey hair and two grows back.
It’s not true. When our body no longer produces enough pigment, grey hair occurs. Just like our eye brow, when you pull out a strand, it grows back. If you pull the same hair every time, it won’t grow back.

7. Washing hair regularly is harmful
Not true. Like our body, our scalps do sweat, plus it produces oil. Bacteria will boom in the warm or cold atmosphere if you don’t wash your scalp. To improve your hair condition, you should wash your hair with good quality shampoo and conditioner doesn’t matter how frequent.

8. Lip Balm contains addictive ingredients
Not true. The smooth feeling of the ointments used in bums is addictive. Your lips may feel drier once the lip balm is worn off and that’s the reason you are dependant on the feel. Lip balms contains petroleum can absorb wetness and cause your lips to dry out.

9. Hair can “Get used to” the same shampoo
Not true. People believe that they become immune to use the same shampoo over time. There is no hard proving. To avoid this condition, use a cleansing shampoo once a week for cleaner hair and go back to your favorite shampoo.

10. Dandruff is caused by dry scalp
True. Dandruff is usually found in oily scalp and dry scalp normally peel off. Commonly, a large flake forms not all over the scalp. This can’t be eliminated since it is a natural condition. It can only be controlled by using special oil balancing or anti dandruff shampoos and treatments.
